TOPIC: You are Needed

TODAY SCRIPTURE: Acts 10-12

TEXT: And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked: That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. – 1 Corinthians 12:23-25.

Omega Fire Ministries Devotional 5th February 2021 MESSAGE:

Never get to a point in your life where you think you are not needed in the service of God. That is a lie of the devil; if there is one person that is needed, it is you.

You have a space to occupy, you have a role to play. If you have not identified it, get to work and do so. Discover your passion and in your passion, that very things you love to do willingly, lies your assignment. And peradventure you have discovered it, you are currently serving, keep at what you do, improve on it and aim for excellence.

There is a reward for consistency and faithfulness in service. Do not withdraw from what you are doing because you feel it is insignificant or unnoticed. You are important and needed to bring out the best in that task. On the football field, a team is made up of eleven players and each member of the team has am important role to play to ensure their collective victory.

If one player is out of the field during the game, the team may suffer defeat. Even if you are at the background of the song, it takes your being there to complete the team. Play your part diligently and devotedly. You are important and needed. “For the body is not one member, but many” (1 Cor.12 :14). Each member is very necessary.

I pray that your relevance would be revealed to the glory of God.

My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, help me to understand my importance in service to you, in Jesus name.
