TEXT: “For he performeth the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with him.” Job 23 :14.
OFM Rhema For Living 31 May 2023 MESSAGE: There is what is appointed for you. Meaning there are also things that are not appointed for you but may be for others. The emphasis here as our anchor text revealed is that God is committed in performing the thing that is appointed for you. The confidence of the speaker shows God had been doing so.
The question now is what is the thing that God has appointed for you? A knowledge of each of the thing makes you hold on to His promise of performing them and in His ability to do so.
In academics, there is what He has appointed, to help you in life, there are helpers of destinies He has appointed for you. To settle down maritally there is a man or woman He has appointed before the foundation of the world for that purpose, in business, there is what He has appointed to shoot you forth to lime light. When you know what He has appointed for you, you hit target in prayer and in action.
You do not pray a miss demanding for things out of lust (James 4 :3). But ask based on His will as 1 John 5 :14 – 15; states, “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him”.
God is committed to performing the things He has appointed for you. So ensure what you are calling on Him forbid what He has appointed for you.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, perform this thing (mention it) that you have appointed for me.
