Prevailing Over Life Challenges

OFM Rhema For Living 27th June 2023 MESSAGE: One very sure way of handling life challenges is by prayer. Prayer gives you the opportunity to solve the problem in the spiritual which controls the physical. Whatever is done in the physical after you have prayed is a walk over. In other words, not to pray is to struggle in the physical, it is to apply efforts that may not yield result. Our Master Jesus, who is our perfect example is a man of prayer. In our main text, He shows us the way out of life challenges by what He did.
Before Him was a great multitude with different challenges for Him to handle. Some which were afflicted with diseases, some possessed of demons, some blind, some lame, some poor etc. Seeing that huge challenge before Him, Jesus did not sit to lament, He did not open a discussion on the issue, rather He applied the very sure way of prevailing over life challenges. He went up into a mountain, the place of prayer to pray.
The mountain is a place of kingdom minded passionate prayer. It is a solitary place with God where you mean business with God. It is a place of total devotion to turn things around; to have solution, a place of focused prayer to avoid all kinds of disturbance. Jesus applied the prayer solution approach to handle the multitude and when He was done at the mountain, he came down to physically minister to the multitude.
No wonder at His word, thee are instant results. May your life experience same by fire.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I emulate the Jesus lifestyle in handling life challenges.
