TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Acts 15:26 (KJV) “Men that have hazarded their lives for
the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

These days, you hear people claiming they have sacrificed for God by ushering, cleaning, or leading prayer in church. There is a commitment beyond doing all these things. Our scripture for today talks of men who “hazarded” their own lives for the gospel’s sake. The word “hazarded” means putting your life at risk, functioning close to death, or being in danger. These men were ready to even lose their lives for the sake of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Now is the time for you to commit yourself beyond the word “committed”. There is no time to miss church because of bad weather or a special visitor. You have a great race to run before the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. If others risk their own lives, you can also risk your job. Some do not attend church because they prioritize meeting some clients, forgetting that it was God who opened doors for such businesses.

Let everyone who works with you know that when it comes to the things of God, you do not compromise. God is our standard, and it’s non-negotiable. Declare to your spirit, soul, and body: “As of this season, the deeper life phase, I shall commit myself beyond what I used to do.” Remove everyone who might try to drain your energy towards God. You have your race to run and do it swiftly in the name of Jesus.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I have my race to run, and I shall finish well. I cut off every habit or person who causes me to compromise the work of God. I shall be a vessel of honor in the kingdom. Hallelujah!
