TOPIC: Honoring The Anointing
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13 (KJV) And we beseech you, brethren, t know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; and to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake.

Most of what we see today in the church falls far short of these scriptures. Apostle Paul admonishes the congregants to es- teem very highly those that are placed over them as prophets, apostles, pastors, evangelists, and teachers. The respect transcends the offices mentioned, even those who hold key positions in the Church need to be highly esteemed for their work’s sake.
Why will Apostle Paul deem it very important to mention highly concerning respecting leaders placed over you? It must be noted that the anointing of God is irrevocable as such when you meet an anointed man of God or woman of God, your level of submission, honour, and respect will trigger the anointing they carry working for you.
A lot of Christians with nicolaitan’s spirit camouflaged and at times kneel before the man or woman of God whilst their heart is standing arrogantly very tall, and they expect the anointing to work for them. This is not possible! The anointing that you truly honour, and respect will certainly work for you. The moment you decide to unconditionally honour those
placed over you in leadership, the sooner you will see your life taking an upward trajectory in the mighty name of Jesus.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I intentionally choose now to honour and respect those that are placed over me. My life will daily reflect the Christ in me and will shine forth wherever I go, in the name of Jesus. Amen!
