Streams of Joy 11th May 2025 Devotional (Sunday) Message
TOPIC: Demonic Transactions
SCRIPTURE READING: Judges 16: 1-31
“And the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and said unto her, Entice him, and see wherein his great strength lieth, and by what means we may prevail against him, that we may bind him to afflict him: and we will give thee every one of us eleven hundred pieces of silver.” (Judges 16: 5)
Our Focal Scripture captures that moment when the Lords of the Philistines offered money to Delilah in exchange for information on how they could nail Samson. Some people were willing to pay money to facilitate the downfall of Samson. Some people were willing to pay a price to ensure that Samson went down. Some people were willing to pay money to see to Samson’s end. Transactions were going on, for Samson to go down.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every demonic transaction that is seeking to aid your downfall, I decree, it will not stand. I scatter every demonic transaction that is seeking your downfall. I scuttle every satanic transaction that is seeking to make a mess of your destiny. I scuttle every transaction of hell that is seeking to make your life become ordinary. I scatter every satanic transaction to make you a victim of what you don’t know.
Samson was already a terror to the Philistines. He was already making impact. He was already a high flier. He was already a successful man by all standards; but unbeknownst to him, men were already negotiating his downfall. People were already paying a price so that his success can be cut short. If you are already flying high, then be mindful of the fact that there could be transactions seeking to end your greatness abruptly.
Not everyone is happy with your influence. Not everyone is happy with your successes. Not everyone will be happy that your profile is rising like never expected. Not everyone will be excited to see you shine for one more day. I pray for you: may you be sensitive to discern those who are paying prices for your downfall; and may you never be a victim of whatever prices people are paying openly and secretly for your downfall.
Those that seek to pay for your downfall, will themselves be the ones to fall. Those that seek your end, and are willing to pay for it, will have the prices they paid backfire on them. You will not fail; you will not fall.
2 Corinthians 2: 11 says: “Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.”
DECLARATION: Every demonic transaction against my destiny, scatter by fire, in Jesus’ name!
