Opening Prayer: As I read your word O Lord, grant me an insight and grace to do your will in Jesus name.

Question(s) for Reflection
• What does the passage teach about God the Father, or God the Son or God the Holy Spirit?
Scripture Union Daily Guide 14 February 2022 MESSAGE
The prophet had seen how the glory of the Lord had departed the old, polluted temple in the spiritual realm even before it was destroyed in the physical (Ezekiel 10:18). Having been shown that temple rebuilt in that same spiritual realm, he now sees a new vision. Compare vs.3‐4 with 10:18‐19.
How are they similar and how are they different? Notice that it was not enough for the glory of the Lord to simply enter the temple. What are we told happened at the end of v.4? These visions refer to a temple built with human hands. They look forward to God’s ultimate plan for you and for me as we read in 1 Corinthians 6:19.
First we have the Holy Spirit of God outside of us; and we have to invite Him into our heart, (Revelation 3:20). It is not enough that He should come into our hearts. What are we asked to do in Ephesians 5:18?
Practice/Word Application
So what? What steps do you need to take today to be filled with the Holy Spirit? (See Luke 11:13; Acts 5:32).
• Any new insight or reinforcement of what you already know?
Closing Prayer
• Dear Lord, fill me anew with your spirit and power.
Offer a prayer of faith in line with Deuteronomy 7:15
One Year Bible Reading Plan
