Make the Right Choice (2)

NO choice in life leaves you the same, it either takes you up on the ladder of destiny or pulls you backward. Even if it keeps you stagnant, it has actually taken you back on the same spot. That is why it is very paramount to make wise choices in line with the will of God for your life. Any choice outside it is an unwise choice and there are repercussions for such actions.
While some may be instantal, some are processed with time. “Had I known is a phrase mostly from the lips of those who made wrong choices. Due to haste and insensitivity of the leading of the Spirit many make wrong choices only to say later that ‘a mind’ was telling them otherwise but they never gave heed to it.
Choice can be influenced by the company we keep. A child of God who keeps company with sons and daughters of belial will definitely end up making wrong choices. His decisions in life will ultimately be influenced. It begins gradually by what goes into him, things he hears, things he sees, and his mind later processes.
The Almighty God gave a command to the first man Adam and his wife Eve not to eat of the fruit of a particular tree in the midst of the garden, but because Eve kept company with the serpent which was subtle, what she heard influenced her sight and corrupted her choice.
Proverbs 13:20; says, “He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.” The year is still very fresh, run through the list of your friends, and cut off wrong relationships. May God grant you understanding.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, help me to keep the right company that will enhance my choice in life.
