Rhema for Living 25 February 2022 Devotional MESSAGE
Every change you desire to be effected in the lives of others must first begin with you. In fact, you are expected to have been transformed or undergoing transformation in that which you desire to be in others so that they can easily look at your life and emulate you.
When every man takes it upon himself to be transformed to the image of Christ, we will have a better work places and not war places. Our neighborhood communities, societies, nations and the world at large will be a better place.
But when we choose to be fault finders we forget that when we point one finger at others, the rest is pointing back to us. Meaning, we have more responsibility for the change we desire in others and in our environment. We are therefore not expected to be seekers of faults but Pathfinders of progress who show others the way of the Lord to better the persons they are day after day till they are perfect.
It is therefore our responsibility to cry to God to circumcise our hearts and give us a fleshy heart that is touched with the feelings of others, a heart that empathizes, a heart that the Holy Ghost can breathe upon to love as the Father, so that we can long for a change in ourselves and also in others; if we believers can be Christ like indeed, we do not need to shout over the top of our voices for others to be saved.
Rather our lives become the epistle they read and long to be like us and follow us to our God. We are not to pattern our lives after the world in anyway but the world should pattern after us who are the light of the world.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, work on my heart that the change You desire in me takes place.
