Text: When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee. And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion. Mark 2 :5, 12.
Omega Fire Ministries Devotional 30th January 2021 Message:
God never created anyone to be a nobody, He created man in His image and after His likeness to be somebody. Jeremiah 29 :11 says, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” It is certain factors in life that make some seem to be nobodies while others are somebody. But as these factors are dealt with, a nobody would be transformed to somebody.
If you want to move from being a nobody to somebody, do not look down on yourself. The factor of inferiority complex makes people look down on themselves. They see themselves less than others because of certain challenges or problems confronting them and as you think in your heart, so you become (Prov. 23:7).
The battle of life is in the mind. Your mental picture is your actual future. If you see yourself as God sees you, that is what you become. It does not matter how you are, there are people that still like you, that still believes in you.
The man with the palsy had four friends who believe in him and brought him to Jesus at all cost.
Secondly, know that if there is a will, there is a way. If you do not give up, that problem will give up. Never lose optimism, keep pressing on, your glory will manifest. The man with the palsy did not give up, otherwise his friends would have been discouraged.
I pray for you, whatever needs to change to make you somebody indeed, may they manifest now.
