A Trigger of the Supernatural

BIBLE READING:Â Leviticus 10-12
TEXT: “And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee”. – 1 Kings 17 :8 – 9.
If you want to trigger the supernatural, then be obedient to divine commands. Has the Lord ever spoken to you about any aspect of your life and it looks as if there is no sense in it, or given a counsel from His word, dream, vision or through His prophet that looks odd and outdated to you? If yes, what are you supposed to do? Simply obey.
Elijah needed God’s help, but God’s instruction on how he would overcome hunger and starvation did not make sense, because God was asking him to go a which everyone knows was poor.
The widow needs help because her life and that of her son was tied to one meal and after which they were to die, only for God to say through His prophet that their last meal should be given to him first. To you it does not look like God’s way because it is not convenient. But it doesn’t have to be convenient, but commanded.
It is obedience to divine commands that triggers the supernatural.
The prophet Elijah obeyed God and went to the widow and that act of obedience made him not to lack divine supply all through the period of scarcity. Also the widow and her household were sustained all through that period because she also hearkened and obeyed God by first serving the prophet from what she considered insufficient.
Child of God, you can live in the supernatural if you make up your mind to obey divine commands
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I enlist my life for total obedience to your will by fire. In Jesus Mighty Name.
