Place Value on Time(2)
by Apostle Johnson Suleman
BIBLE READING: Romans 13-14
TEXT: I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the LORD answer me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. Habakkuk 2:1-2
Omega Fire Ministries Devotional 16 February 2021 Message:
There are things that must be put in place if you must maximize time. The first is that you must have a plan. Without proper planning, time is wasted. When you have no personal plans, you end up in other people’s plans.
So you must have that understanding of planning. God gives people the ability to plan. A wise man once said’ “Nobody plans to fail, but people fail to plan.” In other words, failing to plan is planning to fail. Men with plans are never victims of emergencies. They are never swayed by events.
The Bible says in Luke 14:28, “For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?” Anyone who wants to make progress in this year, must first take a pen and begin to plan January, March, April, through December. Failure to plan is planning to fail, so the absence of planning is the presence of failure.
God can give you direction, but God cannot plan for you. In ourain text, God gave Habakkuk an instruction but Habakkuk’s role was to plan around the instruction.
God gives instructions. He does not engineer the plan. So it is possible for someone to be full of the Holy Spirit and still live a wasted life. There is a time for everything under the sun and a proper understanding of time makes you maximize time.
PRAYER
My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, let the grace for effective planning rest on me.
