That the presence of God is with a man does not mean there will be no challenges, problems, oppositions against him. In fact one of the major proof that the presence of the Lord is with a man is that challenges will rise up against him aiming at disconnecting him from the presence of the Lord. But if God permits them, it is because with them, He reveals His almightiness in the life of believer. With them, He displays the scripture.
“Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” 1 John 4 :4; God uses them to groom the believer to teach him warfare and judgment, hence they serve as steeping stones and springboard to shoot the believer on the ladder of destiny. No wonder David declared in Psalms 144 verse 1; “Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight.” The battles before him taught him warfare and with God, he brought them all down.
Therefore, child of God, when challenges and oppositions rise up against you, be not ignorant of what their ultimate goal is. Remember it is to disconnect you from the presence of Yahweh, the Almighty in whatever form they appear. So be at alert not to shift your focus to them and get disconnected. In the wilderness, only the Israelites that looked upon the lifted serpent made of brass lived despite the bite of the fiery serpent. Numbers 21 :6 – 9.
Learn to focus on God and handle oppositions from above in His presence and the way of escape out of them all will open up for you. 1 Cori. 10 :13.
I pray for you, you will keep basking in divine presence.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I receive the grace to always remain in your presence.
