COMMAND YOUR DAY

TOPIC: Enter with Holiness
Memory Verse: 1 Pet. 1:15: “But as He which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation”.
Reading: 1 Peter 1:15-16; Leviticus 11:44-45; Revelation 21:27.
Enter the New Year with Holiness. This is the word of God for those who desire change. Holiness is to be completely divorced from all unclean things. Any stain on your garment of salvation makes you unholy. To be Holy is to hate what Christ hates. Holiness makes a sinful man a new creature.
Change begins with Christ. When you have Christ, you are a new creature. Aim to be a new creature this New Year. First, you must hate sin. I once had a neighbour to whom I preached salvation, but he gave many excuses. He told me that I should allow him to enjoy some few more years, then he would stop all bad things and come to Christ. He got it all wrong.
Christ is the beginning and root of Holiness. To be Holy, come to Christ by faith, and He will sanctify you. No man or woman can by his or her power separate from sin. Those who want to start living a good, honest, and righteous life before they come to Christ cannot attain Holiness. Christ is the one that gives power to hate sin. Holiness is His nature (1 Pet. 1:16).
Take the first step into Holiness this morning. As you stand before God, raise up your hands and confess the verse from the hymn ‘Rock of Ages’ by Toplady: “Nothing in my hand I bring. Simply to the Cross, I cling. Naked, I come to thee for dress. Helpless, I look to thee for grace” Grace is what you need. Pray for the power to hate sin, and you will enter into the New Year with the Holiness of Christ. You have no holiness to bring before God. Your holiness is like a filthy rag.

PROPHETIC COMMAND (MORNING & NIGHT)
Worship! Praise!! Thanksgiving!!!
1. Thank You, Lord, for putting on me the garment of your salvation.
2. Stains of sin and errors on my garment of salvation, be removed by the blood of Jesus.
3. Hatred for sin and ungodly ways come upon my life, in Jesus’ name.
4. By Your power O Lord, separate me from all uncleanliness.
5. My ways and my life, be purged by the fire of salvation, in Jesus’ name.
6. I confess that I have no holiness of my own. O Lord be the Alpha and Omega of my holiness, in Jesus’ name.
7. By faith, I come to Christ the Sanctifier. O Lord, sanctify me and make me holy, in Jesus’ name.
8. As I step into the New Year, O Lord, let the holiness of Christ cover my nakedness, in Jesus’ name.
9. Every pretence to holiness, I cast you into the fire as filthy rag, in Jesus’ name.
10. Power and grace for holiness, envelope me now, in the name of Jesus.
