OFM Rhema For Living July 4, 2023 MESSAGE: Certain things you did not attempt earlier in life despite the promptings of the Lord which would have promoted you as because you were ignorant of the Lord with you to execute them. You were ignorant of the great power at work in you. With Jesus, there is no mountain that you can’t move. With Him there is no valley that cannot be filled.1John 4 :4; declares, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them because: Greater is He that is in you, that he that is in the world”.
When you are conscious of the enormous power of God at work in you, you will not chicken out before challenges of life that confront you. Rather, you will go all out in the name of the Lord, with the right knowledge and get them down.
Humanly speaking, David was no match in any way to Goliath. By Goliath’s wealth of experience in battle, his physical size, age and weapons of war, he out – weights David.
But from divine perspective, from the eyes of the supernatural, David a child of God is far above him. David had that understanding, he knew God in him and with him makes all the difference. He knew the defeated position of the uncircumcised before the children of God in battle. He knew the battle was the Lord’s, hence, he said to Goliath, “I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.
This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand: and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee…that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel” 1 Sam. 17 :45 – 46.
Child of God, there is no impossibility with God. You can accomplish that task with Jesus.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, help me to always know I can with you.
