Prevailing Over Life Challenges (2)

BIBLE READING:Â Psalms 58-60
TEXT: “And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him.” – Matthew 5 :1.
OFM Rhema For Living 28th June 2023 MESSAGE: Another aspect we want to look at in our topic “Prevailing over life challenges” which determines the positive result we get when we pray is that not until you are “set” in the place of prayer, you do not stop praying. To be set is to be fulfilled in the place of prayer, it is to have an assurance, a confidence that you have prayed through and have received the petition of what you have asked of Him.
There is this inward peace you have which will tell that you have prayed through and most importantly God gives you His response on that which you have asked or communicated to Him. At this point, you are truly set and can come down from the mountain.
A number of persons rush in to pray and rush out hence they do not enjoy victory over life challenges. To be an all-round overcomer, you must know that prevailing prayer eats time and make up your mind to pray until you have result. Jesus in our anchor text did not permit any to come to Him until He was set.
His disciples only came to Him when He was through. Meaning not until he had concluded praying, he permits no disturbance. That attitude of praying and breaking to receive calls, praying and still distracted by happenings around is a limitation to answered prayer.
You can make a decision today, to be focused in the place if prayer and avoid all forms of distraction.
I see you always prevailing by fire.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, have mercy on me and deliver me from distractions in the place of prayer.
