Expect God’s Perfection

BIBLE READING:Â Psalms 67-69
TEXT: Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. James 1 :17
OFM Rhema For Living 1st July 2023 MESSAGE: Nothing bad comes from God. Every gift of his is good. From creation, God; saw everything that he had made, and behold itt was very good (Gen.1 :13). It is such good gifts that He gave His children in every aspect of life. That is why our anchor text implies that every good gift and every perfect gift you see is from above, from God who alone gives such. He alone gives good gifts and also undergo them through divine process to perfect them. It doesn’t matter the physical state of that gift of yours. The first thing to understand is that if it is from God, them it is good.
So refocus and see its goodness with your eyes of faith expecting God’s perfection. Refuse to allow the devil pervert your sight, because if you can picture it, you will capture it. It is as far as your eyes can see. This is why I say to you that, that marriage of yours is a good gift. Those children of yours, that your spouse, your job, profession etc, are good gifts. Start seeing their goodness.
Stop seeing them contrary because God cannot give what does not connect with him. He is a good God and only gives good things which He is committed to perfecting
Hence scripture says, “Every good gift and every perfect gift ….. because there is a process to perfection.
If you want God to hasten his perfection, then expect it.
With understanding, the Psalmist declared, “The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me.” Ps. 138 :8. You can also declare same on yours, because God is committed to perfecting all He gave you, therefore expect his perfection.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, perfect all that concerns me. (You can specify)
