TOPIC: You Are Not One of Them
SCRIPTURE: Mark 14:7 (KJV)
For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good: but me ye have not always.
In every society, there are marginalized people and poverty is a weapon that makes it so. It is not because there is not enough money in the world because there is more than enough for everyone to live in abundance, but poverty is a weapon that is wielded in the hands of the wicked.
Even Jesus said there will always be poor people among you, but when you read the verse carefully, He did not say you are one of them. In fact, He says you are the one who should be in a position to do good for the poor whenever you want to. Jesus never identified Himself as being poor, not one time! He made a clear distinction between Himself and the poor. He said, “you have the poor with you always … BUT Me, you do not have always.”
He was clearly saying I am not one of the poor and neither are you. Understand who you are in Christ. You cannot be in Him and identify yourself as poor. Never! Believe only what the Word of God says about you to you. You are not poor, for Christ has made you rich! Speak it until it becomes your reality.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I take advantage of every opportunity to exercise my faith in possessing financial prosperity. Therefore, my accounts shall testify of my riches. I will never be broke! I help the poor, but I will never be one of them, in Jesus mighty Name!
