TOPIC: Be Moved
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Mark 1:41 (KJV) And Jesus, moved with compassion put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will, be thou clean.
GoodNews Daily Devotional 24th September 2022 MESSAGE
For God to use you in healing the sick, you need to be moved by the plights, needs, and infirmities of others. The element of compassion is there, but it requires being moved in the first instant. Being moved makes something unexplainable be triggered in your spirit as you see or come close to a person in pain. It’s like feeling the pain of the person needing healing.
The moment you are moved, instantly you open yourself to reach out to another level of grace where healing begins to flow through your body to your extremities and then when you touch the sick, they recover. If there is no movement within you that will align with the plight of the person and create an atmosphere where the power of God will flow, then you have embarked on a futile exercise.
God sees your heart as you approach the deaf, the dumb, the blind, the one with cancer or HIV. Being moved to see the sufferer healed, God by His Spirit will release the power to heal and that’s how it works. Do not attempt to speak healing in the life of someone in the name of Jesus when you are not moved at all. It will simply be one of those religious traditions that made the word of God of no effect.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
The love of God is shared abroad in my heart. My heart is receptive to being moved by the needs of others. I shall be a blessing to those around me and to those I encounter!
