TOPIC:Â Your Attitude to Authorities
SCRIPTURE:Â Romans 13:1 (KJV) – Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
If you understand that God places high value on honor and respect and decide to walk in that lane, you will see a change in your personal life. The way and manner in which you honor those placed in authority over you will determine your next level. The Bible is replete with authorities being honored, andthe result is an outpouring of blessing. When you want to be honored and promoted, you have to practice honor.
God respects order, not disorder; God is not the author of confusion. When a leader is ruling a nation, our primary responsibility as Christians is to pray for such a one. The powers that be, in other words, civic authorities, are all ordained by God. There is no one that ascends to power as a surprise to God. There are enough reasons for God to allow the power that be to remain. How do you expect to be blessed by God when you disregard the authority He has placed over you? Unless you learn to honor your leaders regardless of their ages, your next level of promotion continues to be pending. Realign your approach to authorities and experience a push to a higher dimension.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I know by honoring others, God will honor me and increase me. I shall live a life of honor and respect toward others. My approach to my leaders will be different for I know now that authorities are ordained by God.
