Sound preparation cuts across aspects of life. It includes the spiritual and the physical. As I have always stated ‘The spiritual controls the physical. Just as the spiritual preparation is crucial, so also the physical. Our spiritual preparation should empower our physical preparation I’m becoming what God has ordained us to be, not that we embark on one and ignore the other, or embark on one at the expense of the other.
We are complete in Him and with the wisdom of God operational in us, we are to strike a balance.
God has destined us to be excellent brings on earth hence He said, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven” Matt. 5 :16.
Our family, financial, academic, ministerial, business, social and spiritual life should shine forth gloriously for the world to emulate.
How can you repeat the same error over and over again? It means you did not put measures in place to overcome it. With spiritual and physical preparation, we are to overcome the challenges of life even before they present themselves. We are to advance with adequate preparation before they appear and enjoy cheap victory when they eventually do.
Plan your life, don’t leave it to chance.
If you don’t have a plan, people will plan you into their plan for their benefits. You maximize time when you plan each day, each month, year etc. With adequate plan, Joseph enabled pharaoh to arrest seven years of famine ahead of time. The preparation on ground crippled the effect of the famine Gen. 41.
If you can prepare, every test of life will lead to your testimony.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I receive grace for adequate preparation.
