MESSAGE TOPIC: THE LIFTING POWER OF SOUL-WINNING (EVANGELISM)

1. Understanding what it takes to become a passionate soul winner for God
2. Understanding the necessity of soul winning
3. Understanding the impact of soul winning on the soul winner
THINGS TO NOTE:
1. We have not been called to be fruitless, we have been called by God to bear fruit and have fruit that abide in the Kingdom (Jn. 15:16)
2. The greatest heartbeat of God is the salvation of the souls He has created (2Pet. 3:9)
To avail yourself to soul winning is to connect with the heartbeat of God, and you cannot connect with His heartbeat and not be lifted
SCRIPTURAL EXAMPLES OF PEOPLE LIFTED BY SOUL WINNING:
1. Daniel (Dan. 12:3)
2. Moses (Ex. 32:31-34a)
You don’t just become a leader, you become a leader because of the quality of your passion for souls
3. Paul the Apostle (1Cor. 9:16)
You never change position until your passion shifts in gear
WHAT IS THE NECESSITY OF SOUL WINNING?
1. We win souls because of the Love of God for humanity (John 3:16)
2. Soul winning is necessary because of the sacrifice of God the Father of His only begotten Son (John 3:16; Matt. 27:46)
3. We have to win souls because Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour offered Himself as a
sacrifice for the soul of every man (Isa. 53:3-6,11)
4. Soul winning is necessary because of the eternity of the souls of men and the devil’s effort to get them lost at all cost (Luke 15:7; Joel 3:14; Matt. 7:13)
5. Soul winning is necessary because of the reality of God’s judgment and eternal hell fire (Heb. 9:27)
6. Soul winning is necessary because of the value of the human soul (Matt. 16:25-26; Mark 8:36)
The soul of one man to God is more important than all earthly possessions
WHAT IS THE IMPACT OF SOUL WINNING ON THE SOUL WINNER?
1. Divine Presence (Mark 16:20)
2. The possession of spiritual power (Acts 1:8)
3. The guarantee of fulfilment in life (Luke 10:17)
4. Supernatural supplies
The sole purpose of the church is the evangelisation of the lost
You cannot justify your salvation until somebody is saved through you
If the experience you have with God is not worth sharing with others, then it is not authentic.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION:
– As you go out, God will give you the grace to win massive souls and as you do that He will give you the grace to take your place!
