6 He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.
7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?
8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:
9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

It is remarkably noteworthy that figs begin to fruit in about three years after being planted. Figs will not fruit immediately after being planted, but their fruits will begin to emerge from three years. Notice that in Jesus’ parable, the owner of the fig tree wanted to cut it down after three years. The owner of the fig tree wanted to cut it down at a time when it should begin to fruit. The owner of the fig wanted to cut it down in its season of fruiting.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you will not be cut down in your season of fruiting. You will not be cut down in your time of harvest. You will not be cut down in your time of visitation. You will not be cut down in the season when what you prayed for is about to become your reality. You will not be cut down when the doors of your new season are opening up. You will not be cut down in your time of laughter. You will not go down.
There was an agenda for the fig tree to go down because of what had happened, without a consideration of what was about to happen. The owner was about to cut it down in haste, at a time when fruitfulness was next. Hear me as I hear the Lord: no man will take the bad decision to cut you down when it is your time to arise and shine. No man’s bad decision will be your reason to be excluded from your day of recognition and results.
I pray for you: may you not be missing in the time of your harvest. May it never be said that you were gone before your harvest arrived. May it never be said that you were disconnected from your harvest even before it arrived. May it never be said that you were a victim of a hasty decision to take you out in your moment of glory. Powers that say you will go down when your time of harvest has arrived, I decree, they will not prevail.
El Roi has made your mountain to stand strong. El Roi has set your feet in your high places, and no power of hell will cut you down.
Psalm 67: 7 says: “God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.”
DECLARATION: I will not be cut down in my time of harvest, in Jesus’ name!
