SCRIPTURE: Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in…so the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city. Joshua 6:1, 20.

MESSAGE: From the Scriptures, we understand that the land of Canaan was a land that God promised to give the Israelites as an inheritance. But the inhabitants of the land of Jericho (a place they must pass through to get to the Promised Land) were standing in the way of the inheritance of Israel.
Spiritually, Jericho represented ungodly foundations, structures, installations and institutions that stood in the way of the people’s inheritance.
Jericho did not only stand in the way of the inheritance of the children of Israel, it also blocked the access to the destiny of Israel. They could not be what God wanted them to be and could not go where they were meant to go.
Jericho was also in custody of the possession of the Israelites. God had told them that the whole land of Jericho was theirs, yet they were shut out of the city (Joshua 6:1).
There are four keys to handling satanic foundations, structures, installations and institutions.
1. Prophetic instruction
God, through Joshua (Israel’s prophet), brought a prophetic instruction that produced a result and impact.
2. Aggressive confrontation of all satanic installations
What you do not confront, you cannot conquer; what you do not surround, will not surrender.
3. Militant and aggressive praise and worship
That was what broke the wall of Jericho. It also broke prison gates for Paul and Silas. (Acts 16:25-26).
Beloved, connect to a prophetic cover in order to access your inheritance in life.
REMEMBER THIS: What you do not confront, you cannot conquer; what you do not surround, will not surrender.
ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Make up your mind to confront every spiritual Jericho on your way to the Promised Land.
2. Connect to a prophetic coverage for the fulfilment of your destiny.
PRAYER: O LORD, I ask for the grace to confront every Jericho on my way to the Promised Land. I ask for the spirit of aggressive and militant praise, in Jesus’ Name.
