Vs.27‐28: What does it mean to be truly blessed? What has biological lineage got to do with it? God has no grandchildren. Each of us must make a personal decision to accept Jesus as Lord. See John 1:12. Trusting God and obeying His Word are the hallmarks of a Christian. See Psalm 19:9‐11 Vs.29‐32:
What do you make of the request from the Jews for a sign by Jesus? Many people in our generation, like them, are also looking for signs and miracles before they will believe in Christ. How does this attitude to the gospel compare to that of the people of Nineveh and the Queen of Sheba (vs.31‐32)?
If the people of Nineveh and the Queen of Sheba could turn to God with their limited evidence, we who have the evidence of birth, death and resurrection of Jesus have no excuse for not accepting the gospel and receiving the salvation that Christ brought us. Read vs.33‐36 again. When we receive Jesus, His light shines in our heart and we become children of light (Ephesians 5:8‐14). Those who reject Jesus remain in darkness.

THANK GOD FOR:
› His promise to carry us through the wilderness of life as long as we continue to trust and follow Him.
› His care for us so far, both in providing, protecting and lovingly keeping us.
PRAY FOR:
› Humility and patience to allow the Lord lead us this month according to His plan for our lives.
› Total dependence on Him for provision.
› Deliberate decision to abide in Him and let His Spirit abide in us all day long.
PRAY AGAINST:
∷ Anything that will block our relationship with our Maker.
∷ Application of the sixth sense instead of fully trusting Him.
