Scripture Union Daily Guide 10th December 2022 MESSAGE

God had assured Paul when the angel appeared to him in vs.24‐25 that all those with him in the ship would be saved and no life would be lost. The word of God indeed came to pass. Even though the ship ran aground and was wrecked, it happened just as God had said.

Let us stand on God’s word and His promises and we shall be saved. Once again Paul became a beneficiary of the favour of the Centurion. He prevented the soldiers from killing him and the other prisoners who were being sent to Rome. It was one of the strategies of Satan to prevent Paul from going to Rome to testify before Caesar. Once again, through divine intervention, Paul was saved from death.

Notice what Paul did amid the crisis facing everyone in the ship and the result (vs.33‐36, 38). Also notice the number of lives that were saved from perishing in the sea because of Paul’s faithfulness to God (v.37)! Let us learn to encourage others as Paul did in the crisis.

Practice/Word Application

☀ Always renewing our strength especially when the devil wants to frustrate our patience

PRAY FOR:
☛ Grace for our brethren who went away thinking God will not help them, that God will help them to come back and wait for our God.
☛ Strength and courage for brethren who are calling upon God to intervene in their cases.
☛ Open heaven, that the Lord will grant us showers of blessings this day.
