TOPIC: A Second Passover
There were men who were unclean by the dead body of a man, so they could not keep the Passover on that day, and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day. And those men said to him, “We are defiled by the dead body of a man. Why are we kept back, that we may not offer an offering of the LORD at its appointed time among the children of Israel?” – Numbers 9:6-7
Today is Pesach Sheni, the second Passover. Numbers 9:6-7 describes a scenario where there were men who could not keep the Passover because in the carrying out of their duties, they had become defiled. The men pleaded with Moses to give them an opportunity to give their Passover offering to the Lord.

Moses went before the Lord and inquired what should be done in this situation. God instructed Moses to speak to
the children of Israel and tell them that anyone who was defiled or on a long journey during Passover could celebrate the Passover the next month.
It’s good to know that if you miss an opportunity with God, He will give you another chance.
Thank you, Lord, for giving me another chance.
