TOPIC: Gifts of Healings
He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”
– Mark 5:34
No healing is a small thing, but some healings also require a miracle. You can pray for someone to receive a healing, but it won’t manifest, because they also need a miracle. Someone whose neck is broken and their spinal cord is severed in the natural needs a healing and a miracle, because there is no way for the spinal cord to reattach itself in the natural.
The Holy Spirit can heal someone who has been paralyzed their entire life with a healing and a miracle. When praying for someone in that condition, there needs to be a suspension of natural law.
Sometimes when praying for healing, you should also pray for deliverance, because the person may be in a weakened condition and is susceptible to spiritual oppression and depression. Sometimes the Holy Spirit has to manifest all three: healing, miracle, deliverance.
Healing is a gift from the Holy Spirit, and God should be glorified. As with all the gifts, do not worship the gift; worship the Giver who is God.
Lord God, You are the Giver of every perfect gift.
