The Power of Appreciation(2)

TEXT: “And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.” – Luke 17 :17 – 18.
Rhema For Living 26 May 2022 Devotional MESSAGE
Thanksgiving makes you whole. It makes you complete eradicating every trace or scar of the initial challenge. It permanent your blessing. It does not just heal you but gives you divine health.
There are believers who never see reasons to give thanks, hence the sicknesses and diseases they were once healed of by God returns because they were not made whole. When they seek healing, they can go to any length in their pursuit, crying out to God.
But once healed, they never return to give Him thanks. They never return to testify of His goodness befor His people giving Him glory and also stir up the faith of others undergoing such challenge. Psalms 50 :14; says, “Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High.”
God delights in thanksgiving. For who He, is for what He has done and for what He is set to do, we are to offer thanksgiving unto Him.
When we thank Him, He not only multiplies what we thanked Him for but perfects it making it whole. The ten lepers in Luke 17 :12 – 19; when they sought for healing obeyed the command of Jesus and they were healed. As earlier stated, they went all out for healing. But when it came to returning to give thanks for what He did for them, only one returned and Jesus asked, “were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
And he said to the one who returned to give thanks, “Arise go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.” vs 17 – 19. Hannah returned to Shiloh to vow offering Thanksgiving unto God as declared by the Psalmist in Psalms 50 :14; and she provoked his blessing upon her. She offered a sacrificial seed of her one and only child to God and God in turn gavebher five more children. 1 Samuel 2 :21.
You can provoke His wholeness in all that concerns you as you give thanks.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I receive grace to always give thanks.
