TEXT: “As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.” – Acts13 :2.
Rhema For Living 24 May 2022 Devotional MESSAGE
The voice of God is what you need as a child of God to do your assignment here in the midst of this perverse and evil generation. The Holy Ghost spoke specifically when the believers prayed and released Barnabas and Saul for their work in ministry.
Every child of God has been given the assignment to preach the gospel, but you need instructions for each time. Moses was released to go and bring the Israelites out of Egypt at the burning bush but that was not all about the task. He kept getting specific instruction for the ten plagues, the Passover, crossing the red sea etc.
Child of God, you need the voice of God for your Christian race. The Holy Spirit is the power of God. Jesus said, he will tell you all things. He will teach you. All you need in your life is the voice of God to direct you in your Christian work, prayer, study, business, academic, career, all round.
Proverbs 3 :6; says, “In all thy ways…” That was the secret of Daniel, Esther, Abraham, Isaac and all of those who stood out in their generation. All your prayer points, your struggle in ministry, business, academics, relationship is because you lack the voice of God.
Stand on your watch and get instructions, Wisdom is the principal thing… Pro. 4 :7.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I will listen to your voice and follow it by fire.
