Rhema For Living 10 September 2022 MESSAGE
Another trigger of the wonders of God as spelt out in our anchor text is praises. Those who praise God in all weather experience the wonders of God non-stop in life. They escape bad weather
In Acts 16; Paul and Silas were locked up in prison in the inner section with their feet fast in the stocks so they cannot escape. But at midnight something wonderful happened. Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.
And suddenly there was a great earthquake so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and Immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed. Acts 16 :25 – 26.
In 2 Chronicles 20, Judah was it threatened by three nations which joined forces together and came up in battle against her. Jehoshaphat then called upon God with the entire Judah involved in a fast to ask God for help. And God who is fearful in praises told them what to do to trigger His wonders. He said, “Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you…” vs 17.
And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD. And when they began to sing and to praise the LORD, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab and Mount Seir, which were come against Judah, and they were smitten. The three nations fought themselves to death. Judah only came to gather the spoils which took them three days.
If you can praise God in that situation, you will see the wonders of God.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I put on the garment of praise…
