Omega Fire Ministries Rhema for Living Devotional 5th May 2021
When your efforts in life is what meets your needs, that is not supernatural, it is natural when you have to undergo natural course of life to get your needs supplied; that is not supernatural. By supernatural I am talking of God dumbfounding, scientific, human reasoning and logic in meeting your needs. The Bible says in philippians, “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4 :19.
If you want to enjoy God’s supernatural supply, then look away from your salary and efforts and look up to Him. Enlarge your expectation because He is not limited in supply, He can do far exceeding more abundantly above all you can think or ask of Him (Eph. 3 :20). He can use whatever or whoever He has ordained to meet your needs. Stop limiting Him by programming your life supply around your salary, or looking up to specific persons to meet your needs. In 1 Kings chapter 17; God met the needs of Elijah using ravens who naturally would not give but because it was divinely orchestrated, they brought bread and flesh for him and he drank at the brook.
Also in the same chapter in verse 9 – 16; God met the need of Elijah through a widow who in human reasoning needs help and would not wish to release whatever is in her possession but because God is involved, the need of Elijah was met, the need of the woman and her household was also met all through the period of famine after she released that which was in her possession to Elijah.
The Bible says, “And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah.” 1 Kings 17 :16.
I pray for you, men shall be in competition to favour you!
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I open up myself for your supply.
