TOPIC: Enough is Enough
BIBLE READING: Acts 1-3
TEXT: … Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7
When you get to the point where you tell yourself, ‘Enough is Enough’ to the affliction of the devil, then you have come to the point where you are now ready to take forceful action.
God is waiting for you to kick the devil out of your life. He is waiting for you to say no to that sickness, no to that demotion, no to academic failure and no to that repeated battle. When you refuse to accommodate what is not of God in your life anymore, it would have no choice but to give way. The devil is a toothless bulldog pretending to be a lion and taking advantage of the ignorance of men to afflict them. He enters them through subtlety pretending not to harm them, only to reveal his true nature of oppression with legal grounds.
Therefore child of God, arise and resist him and he will flee from you. The devil is waiting to hear your voice, you have cried enough, now resist the devil with your command, with your ever-increasing Word study and declarations. Resist him in prayers regularly, with fasting, giving and with a life that is in total obedience to God.
It is not enough to give commands to the devil, but there should be no room for him by the lifestyle you live.
PRAYER
My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, help me to completely resist the devil.
