BIBLE READING: Luke 13-15
TEXT: And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great: For he had possession of flocks, and possessions of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him. Genesis 26:13-14
MESSAGE: Whoever is born of God has a destiny of greatness. As the seed of Abraham by salvation, we have a root of greatness and ought to be great on the earth. However, to attain that greatness there are certain things thzt ought to be in place – a certain understanding and a mindset backed up with definite actions.
The first thing you must understand if you will accomplish your destiny of greatness is that greatness is in front of you and you must continue to press forward to accomplish it. In our anchor scripture, Isaac went forward and grew until he became very great. He kept progressing and kept growing until he got there.
That tells you that greatness is a process not a one-time hit. The greatness God destined for you is massive and continues, so you must be prepared to advance forward to it, taking the right step, and putting more effort to get there. Your today should be better than your yesterday and your tomorrow, than your today. Where God is taking you to, should take your attention not what is behind you. When the devil wants to attack your greatness, he attack your focus. he makes you consider the past rather than looking forward. There is nothing you can do about the past but so much to do about the future.
Emulate Apostle Paul’s principle in Philippians 3:13-14 and be the greatness God has ordained for you.
PRAY
My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I press forward to the greatness in front of me.
