The Beginning of Great Destinies

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Genesis 1-4

TEXT: “And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.” Luke 2 :7.

Every great destiny starts smalls and the beginning may not be a rosy one. For our master and savior Jesus, when he was born, there was no place for him in the inn and he ended up been born in a manger. He had a ‘mansion’ destiny but was born in a manger. Hear me, your background is not as important as your future. You may come from a family of mould house, it is destiny, but through you, they should have a Norden house and that is impact.

So do not focus on your background and give it as the reason why your back is still on the ground. No! Your background is identical with great destinies because they mostly begin small but translate their smallness to greatness in a process of time.

Job 8 :7; says, “Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.” God does not accept any excuse for remaining in smallness, because He has made provisions for every of His children to greatly increase by applying His divine wisdom in their lives.

1. Understand You Have A Great Destiny: You must understand you have a great destiny and consciously live with that mentality otherwise the happenings at the beginning may swallow it up. So, as you go through the beginning, you tell yourself that it is a passing phase that you are progressing to your destiny of greatness, you are walking through, not stopping there.

2. Press To That Greatness: In pressing to that greatness, you must of necessity walk with the Holy Spirit. Might and power are bound to fail (Zach. 4 :6).

The greatness God has destined for His children is by the Holy Ghost.

Children of God, press forward to that greatness in front of you.

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! I press forward to my great destiny in Jesus name.
