BIBLE READING: 1 Kings 7-9

TEXT: “Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh…” 1 Samuel 1 :9a.

OFM Rhema For Living 11 April 2023 MESSAGE

Child of God don’t sit down to cry, rise up and take action. Hannah rose and went to the temple to pray her heart to God. She forgot about her adversary Peninnah who was tormenting her and focused on what she wanted and how she would get it. What is it you desire in God’s house? Are you focused or are you still looking for who is the cause of what you are going through? Blind Bartimaeus did not mind those who tried to stop him, the more they tried to stop him, the more he cried, “Son of David, have mercy on me”.

The Shunamite woman as arose and went to meet the prophet and when she was asked even by the prophet, if it is well, she said it is well. But when she got to Elijah’s feet, she placed her demand. God is moved by your request. What are you saying? Stop crying and pray. Rev. 5 :5; “And one of the elders said unto me, weep not: Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David hath prevailed to open the book, and to lose the seven seals thereof”.

Pray until you prevail. Luke 18 :1; declares, “Men always ought to pray and not faint”. Isaiah 62 :7; says “And give him no rest, till he establish and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth” Hannah answered the priest in 1 Samuel 1:15b… “for out of the abundance of my complaints and grief have I spoken hitherto” Where are you speaking from? Pour your grief to the Lord. 1 Peter 5 :7; “casting all your care upon him for he careth for you”.

Tell him because he is always listening, his ears are always listening to hear out cry unto him. Numbers 14 :28; “Say unto them, as truly ad I live, saith the Lord, as ye have spoken in mind ears do will I do to you” What are you saying in God’s ears?

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I receive power to travail in prayer until I prevail by fire.
