Night Prayer – June 5th, 2025 – Thursday Night Prayer: Resting in His Grace

Scripture: “But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9

Gracious Father,

As this day draws to a close, I quiet my heart before You. In the stillness of this night, I thank You for Your faithful presence, Your steady hand, and Your unfailing grace.

You have spoken, “My grace is sufficient for you,” and tonight, I choose to rest in that promise. In my weariness, You are strong. In my struggles, You are near. In every weakness I’ve faced today, Your power has sustained me.

Lord, I lay down all anxiety, failure, and fear. I release every burden into Your hands. I don’t need to have it all together—because You do. Let Your strength be made perfect in me, and let Your peace settle over my mind and soul like a gentle blanket.

Cover me tonight with Your presence. Guard my thoughts, calm my spirit, and restore what has been drained. May I sleep in the confidence that I am held, known, and loved by You.

I do not fear the dark, for You are my light. I do not fear tomorrow, for You are already there.

In Jesus’ name, I rest. Amen.
