MFM Daily Devotional 24th February 2026 | MESSAGE
In a world filled with anxiety, uncertainty, and conflict, the Word of God offers us a deep and lasting peace that surpasses understanding, according to our Fire Scriptures. This peace is not the absence of trouble but the presence of God. It is that peace which you have regardless of the situations and circumstances around you. The first question is, do you have the peace of God? I don’t know your answer to this question, but the truth of the matter is that not many people are enjoying the peace of God because they cannot find it. This brings us to the second question, which is, how do I access the peace of God? The Bible provides clear guidance on how to receive and walk in this peace:
The first is faith in Jesus Christ. Accessing the peace of God involves a relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ, accepting Him as your personal Lord and Saviour, living in obedience to His Word, and trusting Him in every situation. That is the foundation of inner peace.
The second is prayer. Bringing your fears to God through prayer leads to His peace. Philippians 4:6-7 shows that peace is a result of trust through prayer and not by ourselves.
The third is trusting God’s control. Isaiah 26:3 says, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” True peace comes from trusting in God at all times. If you focus on God rather than your problems, you will remain peaceful.
The fourth is walking in the spirit. Peace is a fruit of the Holy Spirit, which grows as you submit to Him (Galatians 5:22-23). The more you walk with the Spirit (Galatians 5:16), the more peace you will experience.
The fifth is living righteously. Peace often comes through obedience to God’s ways according to Psalm 119:165: “Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall
offend them.”
The sixth is allowing Christ Rule Your Heart. We are called to let peace rule our lives (Colossians 3:15).
Here, peace isn’t just something we receive; it is something we allow to guide our decisions and attitudes.
