MEMORY VERSE: James 4:8: “Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands ye sinners; and purify your heart ye double minded. ”
READING: James. 4:7-10; 1 Jn. 1:7-10.
MESSAGE: It is one thing to accept Christ and another thing to turn to God. I accepted Christ but for many years, I never really turned to God. I depended on people I knew could help me instead of God. I was trying to follow God and the world at the same time. In the end, I was the loser.
The truth was that I really did not know the enormity of my sins. My father was an idolater down his lineage up to Adam. So was my mother. Every day, I tried to be wise, chasing my self-made agenda. Each time I made confession of Christ as my Saviour, God knew I was merely paying Him lip service. He laughed me to scorn. Then a day came, and I decided to leave the world behind and turn my attention fully to God. This is what you should do now my brother and sister.
God is near to those who have turned to Him. He is far from those who are playing hide and seek game. Justification is for those who are turned to God. It is still early in the year. Why don’t you fully turn to God and you shall never go back to the world.
Apostle James (James 4:8-10) shows how to turn to God fully. Surrender yourself to God. Hate the Devil. Clean sin out of your life. Follow Christ only. Remove filthy thoughts such as sex, murder, stealing, hatred, bitterness, malice, etc from your mind. Think of good things that will benefit you, your family, friends, and poor people. When the thought of the bad things you did in the past comes to your mind, be thoroughly sad.
Cry out, shed tears, and ask God for forgiveness. Humble yourself. Hate pride and arrogance. Plead the blood of Jesus. Happiness and joy will flood your heart.
Turning to God is the first step to greatness. Confess all your sins privately to God. Go down memory lane and tell Him all the bad things you did. Ask him to forgive you.
Believe by faith that He has forgiven you once and for all. He will make you clean from all the wrong things you have done. (1 Jn. 1:9). When you turn to God fully, He will be interested in your well-being.

PROPHETIC COMMAND (MORNING & NIGHT)
Worship! Praise!! Thanksgiving!!!
1. Thank You Father for your interest in my salvation and well-being.
2. Blood of Jesus, cleanse my family of the sin of idolatry up to the tenth generation, in the name of Jesus.
3. From today, O Lord, I stop to play hide and seek with my God. I turn my back fully against the world. Now I follow Christ my Saviour, in Jesus’ name.
4. Blood of Jesus, come between me and Satan, in Jesus’ name.
5. Blood of Jesus, cleanse me of all filthy thoughts, in Jesus’ name.
6. Stronghold of hatred, malice, bitterness, pride, and arrogance in my life, I dismantle you, in Jesus’ name.
7. Power to commit my life fully to the service of the Lord, rest upon me, in Jesus’ name.
8. O Lord, make me Your disciple like Peter and John.
9. I have turned fully to follow my God, spirit of rejection, depart from me, in Jesus’ name.
10. Happiness and joy of the Lord, flood my heart, in Jesus’ name.
