John Hagee Daily Devotional 9th January 2021 Message:
It is easy to forget how great our God is. Everything He has done is great. When He created the stars in the heavens, He made so many that we can’t begin to count them all. The deeper that scientists look into space, the more galaxies and countless stars they discover. And yet the Bible says God numbers the stars and calls them by name. God doesn’t look and say, “That’s star number fourteen trillion.” No, He calls it “Charlie.” How great is that!
That is amazing, but even more amazing is the fact that He created you. He knows you by name, He’s numbered your days, and He’s charted your course. Before He formed you in the womb, He knew what you would need in this life, so He equipped you with gifts and talents to use while you’re here so you can bring glory and honor to His name. He didn’t send you to the world to just exist or survive. He sent you here so that you would be more than a conqueror through Christ. Let the greatness of God arise in you, and let His enemies be scattered!
Today’s Blessing:
Now Father, bless them and keep them; make Your face to shine upon them. Every day, let them celebrate the fact that the God of peace will soon crush Satan under their feet. Let them understand that the battle belongs to the Lord and that they are more than conquerors through Christ because of the triumph of the cross. This, we celebrate, in Jesus’ name and this, we cling to in confidence because You, O Lord, are King above all kings and Lord above all lords, Amen.
