Prayer was never created for you to get something. That revelation likely goes against everything you were ever taught about prayer. But the fact remains that asking to get something was never the intent of prayer.
You pray not to get, but because you already got. You see, prayer is God-directed and God enabled. That means that when you want to pray, that desire is given to you by God. And when you pray, you are empowered by God to do it. God has rigged
the system for you, making it impossible for Him to say ‘no’ to you. How is that possible,
you might ask? It is because of the nature of God.
Two things are true about God: He listens to His own words, and He cannot deny Himself. That means the moment you come to Him in prayer concerning what He has said, you never need to wonder if He hears you because He has obligated Himself to listen to His own words.
Secondly, He never opposes Himself. In other words, He does not lead you to pray so that He can deny your request. Rather, He assures you that every promise He gave you that comes out in prayer is a guaranteed ‘Yes!’ There is no ‘no’ or ‘wait.’ Prayer has been rigged in your favour.
All you need is the assurance that He hears you. So, when you pray according to His Word, be conscious that you are doing that because He gave you the desire and enablement to do it. And know that you already got what you asked Him for.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
God never denies or opposes His Word in me. He hears me every time I pray. And because He hears me, I know I have already received everything I asked for. His answer to me is always ‘Yes!’ Hallelujah!
