TOPIC:Â Territorial Spirits
SCRIPTURE: Daniel 12:1 (NLT) – At that time Michael, the archangel who stands guard over your nation, will arise…
In every city, there are territorial spirits. There are angels assigned to guard over cities. For example, Michael the archangel stands guard over the nation of Israel. There are also demonic principalities that seek to control territories and wreak havoc. That is why every Christian must pray. When you are a prayerful Christian, you become the spiritual territorial commander of your city, town, or region and empower angels to prevent demonic principalities from operating.
Before his conversion, in the book of Acts, Saul breathed out threatenings and slaughter against the followers of Christ, but he made the mistake of entering a region whose atmosphere was charged by the prayers of a territorial commander named Ananias and was struck down by lightning. Ananias was not empowered by the Spirit of God as you are as a New Testament Christian.
Yet he was a man of prayer to the extent that the attack on the church in Damascus was met by lightning! You are more powerful than Ananias! As you pray, you empower the angels assigned to protect and defend your city. When you pray, visualise those angels being charged with the lightning power of God. Be the loudest in your city in prayer and take command over your territory in the year of Heaven on Earth!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I am the territorial commander of my city. I saturate the atmosphere with my prayers. As long as I am here, every demonic entity must bow in the mighty Name of Jesus!
