TOPIC: He Is Touched
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY: Hebrews 4:15 (KJV): For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
Some Christians hold the conviction that Jesus is far removed from them. Do not think that God is far from what you are overwhelmed with. Remember, you are the headquarters of the godhead. When Paul says, “you are the body of Christ” (1 Corinthians 12:27 KJV), it means that when you move, God is moving, when you sit, God is sitting, when you declare, God is declaring. You represent God here on earth; this representation is not theoretical; it’s a reality.
The problem is that most Christians have not come to the realization that they are God carriers. If you are born again, the Spirit of God takes residence in you. The Bible says, “Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” (2 Corinthians 3:17 NKJV). The reality of your life today is that Jesus dwells in you and is touched with what troubles you. That sickness worrying you doesn’t give comfort to Jesus. He wants to heal you! Jesus is not gratified when you are poverty-stricken, as some would suggest. No, that’s not Jesus’ doing. He’s ready to intervene when you allow him to. Hallelujah!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I am the Lord’s battle-axe. I shall experience God’s power at a higher level. I know God’s Spirit in me is doing the work. Therefore, I am confident I can do all things, for I know that all things are possible with God. Amen!
