GoodNews Daily Devotional 25th September 2022 MESSAGE
When you see this verse in your Bible marked in ‘red’, it means, our Lord Jesus himself spoke these words. If you put your money into gambling, horse racing, or the outcome of sports like tennis, football, rugby, or basketball, then your heart will surely follow. Spectators of these games have invested some money into them, so they are very passionate and keen to be there.
The words of our Lord, Jesus will always be true, the same way when you put your finances into the Church, your heart will follow. Most Christians sometimes take a deliberate decision not to give an offering let alone pay tithe, the reason they gave is the pastor will eat it! They want to play God when it comes to their finances, forgetting that it’s in the Master’s eyes to see and reward you. You have a duty to support the work of God and that is achieved through your giving.
Some people are just naturally stingy and are noted for that in their families. They will question every penny and cent from their spouse, how much more church. This tendency of withholding your finances knowing that the church will have a need as the GoodNews must be preached to the four corners of the world is detrimental to yourself. When you release what’s in your hands for God’s work, he will open opportunities to increase your finances in ways you cannot imagine.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
When I give to God, I am sowing into my future, what I release unto God is never lost. As I sow into this ministry, I am planting on fertile soil and my bountiful harvest is guaranteed. Hallelujah!
