TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Luke 2:10 (KJV) “And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.”

GoodNews Daily Devotional 25th December 2022 MESSAGE

God was the original Person to coin the phrase, “Good news to you!” With great joy, He dispatched an angel to
herald the coming of the Saviour of the world, the Lord Jesus Christ. The angel announced, “good tidings of great
joy!” What a wonderful salutation in anticipation of the arrival of the greatest Gift to the world! That good news was delivered to shepherds who were in the field.

The job of those shepherds was to watch for enemies trying to attack the sheep, defend the sheep from attackers, heal the wounded and sick sheep, find and save lost or trapped sheep, love them, and share their lives, and so earning their trust. And God said I’d got good news for you! Someone is coming who will do all of that for you and more!

God is sending you a better message of good news today because we have already received what those shepherds were waiting for! You can rejoice because the Lord Jesus Christ has already dealt with your enemies. He has defended you from attackers. He has healed the wounded and sick. He has saved the lost. And He has demonstrated His great love for you and shared His very life with you! Hallelujah! What a Saviour! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I rejoice in the God of my salvation! He has delivered me from
all my troubles and given me His peace! Hallelujah!
