TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
Blessed are the peacemakers; for they shall be called the children of God. – Matthew 5:9

GoodNews Daily Devotional 1st March 2022 MESSAGE

As Christians, it is extremely important for you to understand that we are not of this world. When the world starts to panic during economic problems, we don’t become worried or act as if we are hopeless. Because we are the children of God, we have peace and should look for opportunities to bring God’s peace to the hopeless. You might be at work and the manager announces that there will be layoffs.

While everyone else is stressing out and complaining, you speak peace in that environment. Tell your co-workers if this door is closing that just means another has already opened. If you are the one that has been laid off, thank your manager for the journey you had at the company and boldly declare you’re moving higher. Leave a positive impression in the midst of contradiction. Don’t act like everyone else because you know who your source is. You are a peacemaker! So how do you bring peace when you are afraid?

God’ peace is already available but it is up to you to make that situation peaceful in your mind. Take God at His word and execute on it. You are a child of God and are not from this world. Therefore, we operate by a different set of rules. Get in the Word and remind yourself who you are. You are a child God and are called blessed because you are peacemaker.

The Lord Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid”. This means that peace of God in you lets you know that you always have the victory!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I have the peace of God because I am a child of God. I will no longer let anything steal my peace. I bring God’s peace to every chaotic situation. The Lord is always with me. I am a peacemaker. Hallelujah!
