TOPIC:Â Let’s Get to Work
SCRIPTURE:Â I planted, Appollos watered, but God gave the increase. –Â 1 Corinthians 3:6 (KJV)
It’s often said that God doesn’t need your ability but your availability. God is the One who qualifies the called. When you disqualify yourself to God’s service and feel weak, understand that God’s strength is made perfect in your weakness. When you make yourself available, there is always something to do in the house of the Lord. There is one particular area where everyone is qualified, and that’s in giving to ensure that the GoodNews of God’s grace is spread abroad to all nations and continents. When you consider this as a form of service, then you know whenever a Man of God travels and performs miracles and healings, you are with him.
The scripture for today speaks of three cycles involved when it comes to service within the body of Christ. Those who initiate the process are the planters, but planting a Church is only the beginning. The Church must be watered with the WORD constantly and consistently. It should excite you to be involved with ministry in whichever department and whatever capacity. The ultimate goal is to advance the kingdom of God. Once you become passionate about any department within the ministry, take it as your calling; don’t wait to be asked. Offer to serve.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I am the embodiment of God’s love. God’s love is seen through I have the calling and gift to participate in the work of the Lord. I can never sit nor be passive anymore, I take it to heart that my service will advance the kingdom of God now and always in Jesus’ name!
