SERVICE OBJECTIVE(S): Understanding the products or the dividends of prayer
We serve a prayer answering God
God is a Rewarder of them those who diligently seek Him (Heb. 11:6; Jer. 33:3)
God is not just the God Who records, He is the God who Rewards
God is not just the God Who listens, He is the God Who answers
WHAT ARE THE DIVIDENDS/PRODUCTS/BENEFITS OF PRAYER?
5. Access to Divine voice and direction (Jer. 33:3; 6:16; Hab. 2:1)
5a. The place of prayer is the place of Divine direction; it is the place of access to the voice of God
5b. Prayer is a two-way channel of communication; we speak to God and listen for God to speak to us, either by the Spirit or from the Word
SCRIPTURAL EXAMPLES OF ACCESS TO DIVINE VOICE AND DIRECTION AT THE PLACE OF PRAYER:
1. David – At the place of prayer, David secured Divine direction for total recovery (1 Sam. 30:8)
2. Daniel – Daniel secured Divine direction at the place of prayer for the rescue of the captivity of his people (Dan. 9:2-23)
WHY DO WE ACCESS DIVINE VOICE AND DIRECTION AT THE PLACE OF PRAYER?
We serve a God Who is a speaking God, and at the place of prayer you can tune your hearing to hear what the speaking God is saying (Ps. 85:8; Matt. 4:4)
6. The transformation of life (Luke 9:29; Eccl. 9:8; Gen. 32:28; 1 Chron. 4:9-10)
6a. The place of prayer is the place of life transformation and character renovation (Luke 9:29; Eccl. 9:8)
6b. Prayer does not only change things, prayer changes people.
The person who prays is changed by his own prayer; prayerlessness equals changelessness

SCRIPTURAL EXAMPLES OF LIFE TRANSFORMATION AT THE PLACE OF PRAYER:
1. Our Master Jesus experienced the change of garment at the place of prayer (Luke 9:29)
2. Jacob experienced a complete change of identity at the place of prayer (Gen. 32:28)
3. Jabez experienced a change of life at the place of prayer (1 Chron. 4:9-10)
HOW DOES PRAYER CHANGE PEOPLE?
Prayer brings us into contact with the Consuming Fire (Deut. 4:24; Isa. 6:1-6)
7. The preservation of life and destiny (Dan. 6:10, 20-22; 2:16-19)
7a. The place of prayer is the place of preservation of life and destiny; prayerlessness increases vulnerability
7b. Spiritual intensity increases destiny immunity and security (Ps. 91:1-2)

1. Daniel and his companions were preserved (Dan. 2:16-19)

HOW DOES PRAYER PRESERVE?
The Presence of God is the highest place of safety and security on the earth (Ps. 91:1-2)
8. Access to open Heavens (Luke 3:21; 2 Kings 2:11-12; 1 Kings 17:1)
8a. The place of prayer is the place of connectivity between the earth and the heavens
8b. The one who prays has access to the climate, atmosphere and resources of Heaven
8c. The prayerful man or woman possesses an open heaven existence
SCRIPTURAL EXAMPLES OF ACCESS TO OPEN HEAVENS AT THE PLACE OF PRAYER:
1. Our Master Jesus (Luke 3:21)
2. Elijah walked in such an open heaven dimension that when it was time to go, he went into heaven bodily (2 Kings 2:11-12)
HOW DOES PRAYER BRING OPEN HEAVENS?
Prayer literally brings a person into the presence of God granting them access literally through the heavens unto God (1 Kings 17:1)
Everything around a man opens when the heavens are opened over his life
9. The shaping of history and the changing of destiny (Dan. 9:1-23; Gen. 32:24-28; 1 Chron. 4:9-10)
9a. Prayer changes destinies and shapes histories by altering the course of life’s events (1 Chron. 4:9-10)
9b. Prayer neutralizes the effect of negative history and facilitates the realisation of positive destinies (Gen. 32:28)

SCRIPTURAL EXAMPLES OF DESTINIES CHANGED AND HISTORY SHAPED BY PRAYER:
1. Jacob had a bad identity and a name that was bad but at the place of prayer his name and history were rectified (Gen. 32:28)
HOW DOES PRAYER SHAPE HISTORY AND CHANGE DESTINY?
Prayer brings you into the presence of God and the presence of God is the Headquarters for change (2 Cor. 3:18)
10. Deliverance from danger and destruction (Ps. 40:1-3; 126:1; 1 Sam. 7:9-13)
10a. The place of prayer is the place of interference and interruption of the plans and agenda of the enemy
10b. The place of prayer is the place for the dissolution, destruction, and dissipation of danger
SCRIPTURAL EXAMPLES OF DELIVERANCE FROM DANGER AND DESTRUCTION BY PRAYER:
1. The children of Israel (1 Sam. 7:9-13)
2. The Israelites in the days of Queen Esther (Esth. 4:16)
HOW DOES PRAYER DELIVER FROM DANGER AND DESTRUCTION?
The Presence of God is the antidote to danger (Ps. 23:4)
COUNSEL:
1. Let prayer become an atmosphere not just an incidence, an attitude and not just an act (1 Thess. 5:17)
2. Maintain faith expectation for answered prayer (Heb. 4:16)

1) Father, I have come before You today at this place of prayer and I trust You to move my life to the next level; I ask for access to Divine direction, a change of life, and preservation for my life and destiny; I decree that I cannot die before my time, I shall fulfil my days, in Jesus’ Name!
2) Father, I have come before You today at this place of prayer to receive Your help and mercy; I pray Lord that the results of prayer will be evident in my life; I receive help to walk under open heavens, I ask Lord that You will shape my destiny and mold my history at the place of prayer, and I receive deliverance from danger and destruction, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
3) Father, we take authority over every enemy reprisal and counterattack – we decree their frustration, failure and defeat now in the name of Jesus Christ – Luke 10:17, 19.
4) Father, we ask that You frustrate every agenda of the enemy to further destroy our Nation, Nigeria. Lord, frustrate their plot and plan, Lord in Jesus Name – Proverbs 19:21.
5) Father, I ask that You fulfill Your plan and purpose for my life/destiny in this season, Lord in Jesus Name. Frustrate every agenda of the enemy for my life, Lord in Jesus Name – Matthew 6:9-10.
6) Father, we receive change in our lives, families, destinies and nation; we receive it now, not tomorrow, oh Lord, in Jesus Name.

– Nobody who desires life can deprive you of your own life! Even if they desire death, that death will be their portion
