The man is the priest of the house (Heb. 3:1)
If the home must work, the man of the house must be the priest of the house (Heb. 3:1)

THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE MAN AS THE PRIEST OF THE HOUSE:
1. Setting the pace for the spirituality of his family (Heb. 12:1-2)
As Jesus set the pace for the spirituality of the church so must the man set the pace for the spirituality of the home
It is an abomination for the women or the children to be the major drivers of spirituality in the home
Man of the house, your wife should be able to come to you with any scripture she doesn’t understand for you to shed light on it
Spiritual authority is not forced, it is earned
Your faith in God and prayer life should challenge your household

1. Bringing the family before God at the place of prayer (Ex. 28:29; 1Sam. 12:23; Gen. 25:21)
   If you remember to pray for yourself or your assignment or anything concerning your life, you must remember to pray for your wife and children
   In the event she is not praying for herself, your prayer should be able to sustain her.
   Before you insult your wife and children, have you prayed for them?

2. Teaching and instructing them in the way of the Lord (1Sam. 12:23; Gen. 18:17-19; Eph. 5:27)
   It is the priest’s duty to teach and instruct
   You don’t blame them until you’ve trained them
   Men, don’t leave the training of your children solely to your wives, or even the house help.
   No matter how great a mother is, she can never be a father and a father can never be a mother, so you need the balance teaching from both parents.

3. Blessing the family continually in the name of the Lord (Num. 6:23-24)
   It is the duty of the priest to bless
   Many that are meant to bless their wives and children are cursing and insulting them so they eventually become redundant
   The greatness of the Jewish nation is that parents are taught to bless their households officially
   Keep blessing your household and see how they will turn out

4. Modelling the love and fatherhood of God to them (John 1:18)
   The husband is to manifest the Father to his household in love
   Love and speak good words to your family
   Children need affirmation, if you don’t give it to them they will look for it outside.
   Many have insulted the best out of their children until the worst came out
   You cannot be close to God and not love people, beginning with the people of your life.

PRAYERS

• Father, I ask in the name of Jesus, let this convention answer to its name; it is a destiny recovery convention and it must answer to its name, in Jesus’ Name. (Gen. 2:19)
• Father, I ask that in this convention, cause me to encounter that Word that is needed for my change/transformation. Father, give me a new identity by Your Word, by Your encounter in Jesus’ Name. (Luke 1:36)
  [The Voice of God is not just sound, the Voice of God moves with the Hand of God. So you are not just going to receive a Word from God but also a touch (Isa. 8:9-14; 2Chron. 6:4)]
• Father, throughout this convention, I will not just hear a sound but I will receive a touch from
  You, in Jesus’ Name. (Isa. 8:9-14; 2Chron. 6:4)

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
– Anybody looking for your life, their life shall go for you!
– This Destiny Recovery Convention is not permitted to end until your testimony appears!
– Today, help and peace from above is released!
– Everyone battling to have a quality home, today that battle is over!
– Husbands, receive the grace to be the priest of your home!
– Wives, receive the grace to be a helpmeet!

• Children, grace to be arrows in the Hands of a mighty God is released upon you today!
• Before this week is over, Jehovah shall locate you!
• For anyone single again, may God re-establish you in Jesus’ Name!
• Every challenge in the home that has put homes under pressure, today, those afflictions are over forever!

• Ancestral forces fighting the home from succeeding, today, these powers are broken!

• Overnight Divine encounters shall happen that shall position the home in the will of God!
