Many people struggle with identity—wondering who they are, where they belong, and what their life truly means. The world often defines us by our past, our mistakes, or our achievements. But God gives us a completely different identity.

In this passage, we are reminded of who we are in Christ. We are chosen by God. Not overlooked, not forgotten—chosen. We are called to be His own people, set apart and deeply loved.

This truth is powerful because it shifts how we see ourselves. We are no longer defined by darkness, confusion, or the limitations of our past. God has called us out of darkness into His wonderful light. That means we now walk in purpose, clarity, and hope.

Let’s Pray:

Lord God, thank You for choosing me and calling me Your own. In moments when I feel unsure of who I am, remind me of my identity in You.

Help me to walk in the light You have called me into. Remove every lie that tries to define me by my past or my weaknesses. Let Your truth take root in my heart.

Teach me to live as Your own, reflecting Your love and Your grace to those around me. Let my life be a testimony of how You have brought me out of darkness into Your wonderful light.
